Ravens Acquire Jeremy Zuttah from Buccaneers

Ravens acquired C Jeremy Zuttah from the Buccaneers in exchange for a fifth-round pick in the 2015 NFL draft.
They're also signing him to a long-term deal. Zuttah, 28 in June, is a Rutgers alum who was on the outs in Tampa after Greg Schiano's departure. He ranked 22nd among 35 qualifying centers in Pro Football Focus' 2013 ratings, while incumbent Ravens C Gino Gradkowski came in dead last at 35th. Zuttah isn't an All Pro, but he's a stable addition to a Baltimore line that got rag-dolled last season. Zuttah also ran a sub-5.00 forty time coming out and is a big athletic upgrade. He's a strong fit for new OC Gary Kubiak's zone-blocking scheme.

I'm honestly so happy about this. Sure he isn't an All-Pro caliber center, but he is an above average guy that is in his prime and will give us a solid 5 years or so of above average ball. Only giving up a 5th for him is a beautiful addition, well done Ozzie.

FS and RT are the only 2 starting positions we must fill now, with offensive weapons still being an area of need as well

Having KO and Yanda on each of his sides will be amazing. And having a center that can call the plays at the line of scrimmage, marvelous!

i'd still add an olineman in tehd raft early, but i think that group has a good chance to be much improved over last years model

^Agreed. I am hoping a good one is still around in the 3rd round, with Wagner getting a chance at RT too. I have a feeling though Martin/Clinton-Dix or trade back and pick up Moses/Mosley/Pryor.

It's a shame I like a lot of players in this draft.

With 59 players under contract already and 8 draft picks this upcoming draft with 4 being compensatory picks it'll be interesting to see how the Ravens approach this draft.

They definitely have the ammo to move up in the 1st or 2nd round.

My guess is they stand pat in the 1st at 17 and then use that 3rd rounder as a way to move up in the 2nd for a prospect they may potentially really like that might be falling.
