I think it'll take at least a 3rd rounder if not higher to land DJ.

I would love to have him now since we picked up Schaub, but I doubt Reggie spends more picks (even though Jackson > any WR we could pick in the 3rd).

If we do get Jackson, we could easily pick that 3rd back up with trading back from #5 if needed. Also Moore would have to be traded, maybe get a 6th or 7th to offset the Schaub trade.

Switch, I agree about your post on adding even more beef. Robinson wouldn't be a bad option. Can't go wrong adding even more depth and power to the line(s).

Anyone actually know how much cap we have left? Also what did Woodson make?

well we had about 26m in cap space.... the signing of Schuab counts about 11m against us leaving us with 15m. This does not include what we owe Woodson. Cwood's contract has yet to be revealed. One would assume its close to last years one year deal at 4.3m with a 700k signing bonus.

That leaves us with roughly 10m to spend to fill out this roster...

I hope they don't get comfortable after acquiring Schaub.

We still need a DT or two, possibly a CB, possibly a LB. and possibly a guard.

We need draft picks not, DJax. No way we should give up a 3rd and take on his contract. There aren't many teams out there that can absorb Djax contract so if they really want him gone, what can they do for us. We have the leverage on this one.

I think with Schuab RM and DA will be looking for Watkins, Evans or someone else. With Jones in the mix with Streater, Holmes and Moore I believe we will be OK. There are lot of successful teams that don't have a true #1 receiver.

I honestly believe DJ Hayden will make a nice improvement this year and solidify himself as a worthy top 15 pick. I think our FA moves are all but done .

We deff. need DT and CB. I feel as though we can use one of our high draft picks to plug the DT position up.

CB worries me, there were so many solid CBs in free agency that we should have got a mid-teir guy on the cheap already. Antoine Cason was my choice - solid starter, low pay. The CB market has thinned out a bunch. I do not like drafting a CB because they often cant come in and make a difference, like Hayden (he may down the road but he was not ready). I would hate for us to burn high picks back to back years on CB's because we need a starter.
