Could T.J. Warren be the number 1 pick in the draft?

With all the hype from Wiggins, Embiid, Parker, and Randle, people are not paying attention to a star in the making. Today in the ACC tourney, he erupted for 28 against of the best teams in the country in Syracuse.

He has been arguably the best player in college basketball this season.

Could he be up there with the Wiggins and Parker?

Honestly, Warren is one of the best players in the country and yet most people have never heard of him.

I honestly do nothing think he will go number 1, but no one thought Anthony Bennett would either so.

Anthony Bennett was at least considered a top 7-10 prospect. TJ Warren isn't even that highly thought of. I'd bet my life on it not happening.
I no longer care about anything here except for the Entertainment Forum, which sucks; the Music forum, which sucks; and the Magic forum, which does NOT suck.

bennett was a projected top 10 pick in a crappy draft that had no talent hierarchy ,this is a much different situation.

With the Cavs having the number 1 pick now I wouldn't doubt it if they did something that stupid

To be fair, a lot of places had Alex Len listed as the top overall prospect last year, so Bennett going #1 wasn't as huge of a reach as people make it out to be. Porter and Noel were also consensus top 4 picks almost everywhere.

Bennett was in the top 6-7 of almost every mock I trust.

I think Warren is a good player, he's pretty unique. I think he's a great pick in the 15-25 range. He's going to be able to score at any level. I think he'll be able to settle in at the 3, even though most scouts see him as a bit of a tweener. He isn't the most athletic player, but he has the smarts to make up for it. He's a better shooter than most people think.

I don't think Warren has as high of a ceiling as Embiid, Wiggins, Parker or Randle. Although an inch taller, Warren reminds me of Draymond Green and thats no knock on either. Green has been a solid player in Golden State and has outplayed Barnes, who was a lottery pick.
