^ When we line up in a 3-4, if we can add Barr or Mack to that... OMG OMG
With us running a hybrid but leaning heavily on the 3-4 scheme, that line backing core is a major upgrade on what we had last season.

I'm very intrigued by this potential signing. Spikes brings attitude and a physical style similar to Pollard, which I would definitely be in favor of but his addition brings one big question up. Would you start Woodyard/Spikes inside and bump Brown outside, if not what would we do with Brown?
I like the Woodyard signing, but I've read a lot of places that he wasn't a good fit in a 3-4 defense last year, which is why he ultimately got benched. But if they're running a hybrid, it might allow him to play within certain alignments that benefits his skill set.
