Falcons agreed to terms with DE Tyson Jackson, formerly of the Chiefs, on a five-year, $25 million contract.
It's a massive commitment for a former first-round bust, but Jackson is coming off a career year. The Falcons are going on a spending spree as they follow through on their word to toughen and reinforce one of the league's softest defensive lines. He was drafted by new Falcons assistant GM Scott Pioli. The Falcons had to add bodies up front, but Jackson could prove to be one of the more regrettable signings of Day 1.
