I know this discussion takes place in this forum every off-season and every season we see the same results. 4-3 scheme with some aspects of a 3-4 implemented. I feel like this is a good transition time as any to finally make the leap for a number of factors.

1) Our defense sucked in 2013(not completely but overall)
2) We are not making a guy like Babineaux a priority and asking Osi to already take a pay-cut a year into his new contract from last year.
3) There are a lot of defensive free-agents that can be added to help ease the transition.
4) There are a lot of defensive prospects in this years draft that can help build the scheme around a-la Khalil Mack, Anthony Barr (should go around pick 6)

Pat Yasinskas wrote a pretty good article around the idea as well.

So, what do you guys think? Do we make the leap to a 3-4 or what?
