End of an era; Broncos release Champ Bailey

Can't believe it. Never thought I would see the day. Really believed he would retire a Bronco.

He should have retired last year or after the super bowl this year. He is a shell of himself. It makes guys look bad when they try to keep playing after having a great career, but they aren't good enough to start anymore, like Emmit Smith and Jerry Rice.

I love Champ and always have, but don't see him getting much interest.

He should just retire at this point, he had a good run.

It sucks, but I can't say it took me by surprise. Wish they could've kept him for a lot less, but just wasn't in the cards.

Maybe he'll retire, but don't forget that he had that lisfranc foot injury since the 2nd week in preseason. He wasn't really 100% at any point of the regular season. I think he could still help a team.

I really wish we would of won a Superbowl than he could retired, this is not the way any bronco fan wanted to see him go. but I knew this was going to come, just isnt worth the money he was making. I hope he comes back and signs for cheap. in hopes to win it here! if not, Best of luck to you CHAMP! Denver will always love you! true legend!

still remember the pick six on brady like it the other day! even when we had his brother boss bailey and him. so much GOOD memories. hes one of GOAT corners of the game.

They're just making room for Brandon Browner.

One of the best at his position. But I think Father Time is calling. No shame in retiring and moving on to the coaching ranks.
