Why don't the Cowboys start over?

Why are they still sticking with Romo?

They're going to have to eventually. Their ceiling is pretty much 8-8.

Because Romo is one of the only reasons they win any games to begin with.

Because Tony Romo is very good.

Their problem stems from the irresponsible spending elsewhere and constantly pushing things in the back. Unfortunately, that means throwing a year or two away like RM did the Raiders. It's a bad situation, so maybe dealing Romo is the for the best just for his sake and to get some young prospects. That said, it's not easy to find QB's like Tony Romo.

All that said, at this point, Romo, Dez, Witten and Smith are pretty much their lone bright spots.

    This is just beyond me.

Romo is a Top 10 QB in the NFL. Period.

Stop basing your opinion entirely off of ESPN hype, the Cowboys are NOT a good football team.

I think they should trade Romo for a high draft pick and draft a new QB. Look at what seattle and the 49ers did

It's going to happen after this year. They won't have a choice with the cap, with the restructures they've been doing it's gonna hit the fan here shortly

Romo isn't the problem but they do need to start over. Jerry Jones just has too much pride.

They built up great defenses. They didn't trade away top 10 QB's to get a new QB. That doesn't make any sense.

Jerry Jones is impatient and will have none of that.

They're in a ****** predicament. They're more or less in what I call "performance purgatory". By that I mean their ceiling is more or less 9-7, but on the flip side their floor is like 7-9. They're not good enough to do anything in playoffs/get to the playoffs, but they're not bad enough to push for top 5 draft picks.

Cowboys arent really in a position to draft a QB better but I do believe they should attempt to trade Romo and start over and try to move up for one. i think Romo is the main thing holding that team back

Romo isnt the issue, They need to get out of cap hell.. they are 20+m OVER the cap annually.. They need to just dump some bigger salarys and do a semi rebuild..
