These are my top 5 players. So I will be happy with any of those on the Raiders team at selection #5.

    1. Blake Bortles
    2. Teddy Bridgewater
    3. Jadaveon Clowney
    4. Khalil Mack
    5. Sammy Watkins

Trade down to preferabley the Vikings or even better yet the Lions and stock pile draft picks. Then if Donald, Clowney, Mack and Bridewater are off the board, take a shot at Carr and just go BPA with all the rest of our picks.

@KRS, Lol You are 100% correct. I for one would be satisfied.

He is my pick but not at No 5 we need to trade down get another pick in the 3rd at least and get Carr.

And you are what your record says you are.
Sure liked the two years before DA and RM 1 game away from playoffs.
And some say we are better off today.

BPA is a very stupid way of drafting, but for us, it's not that stupid because we could easily upgrade just about every position. However, if we resign Veldheer and then draft a LT because he's the BPA, then it's extremely stupid. Because RM would either be wasting a top 5 pick on a RT with bigger needs on the bored or we would be moving Veldheer to RT and overpaying.

What teams should do is locate the best players at the biggest need positions and take them. The fastest way to get better is upgrading your weakest spots.

I'd be 100% on board if it involved trading down for multiple picks and we landed Carr middle of the first round.

If Clowney is there at 5 pick him. If not then Teddy, Bortles or Manziel whichever is still available. If they are also gone Watkins/Mack or trade down. I think the 5th pick this year will actually have more trade value than our 3rd overall last year because the top of the draft this year is strong.

Just out of curiosity who would be down for a year of Matt McGloin? I for one am okay with it as long as he is set up with a solid receiving core and solid run game. Personally I don't believe this team should target a quarterback early but draft one in the mid to later rounds and just have him sit the bench for a couple years. The defense needs a complete reconstruction.

From what I have seen Firm is clearly down and Shredd is on the fence. Just wondering what the rest of the nations thoughts are regarding McGloin.

Trade down get extra picks. I would target Mike Evans, Odell Beckham, Cooks then get Carr or McCarron in the 2nd.

Firm wanted us to take Ryan Nassib last year with the #3 overall pick last year, I'm not listening to his opinions about any quarterbacks ever
