Knicks Thought Shumpert For Collison Trade Was Done

I think that would have been a great deal for NY

Sources: Knicks thought they had a Shump/Collison deal done yesterday. Clips pulled out just b4 deadline.

It's Chris Broussard btw , he makes up stories all the time .

You know how you know things are bad? You offer your starting SF and starting PG for another team's backup PG and THEY say no.

I really thought this was a good trade all around, Clippers really should not need collison, but having a defender like Shump could really help in the playoffs. thats the one area they lack if you ask me.

sure he would. He's easily better than Felton/Prigs/Beno.

the only question is how much would that change, and in the ****** east the Knicks could jump over a lot of teams just by plugging rotation holes.

Collison played awesome when Paul was out for that long stretch, he was like top 30 in fantasy..had a lot of weapons to pass to though
