I'm not interested in Ubaldo for 4 years. If the O's are willing to give him that, good luck to them.

AA better start working on his resume if he can't add anything to this team.

no kidding, that's a contract that should have been easy to match.

I was going to make a joke about pending the physical and the Orioles but the bigger issue is that it's ST, the prices have dropped fairly significantly, and the Jays can't even add Jimenez.

If you didn't bother adding a hitter, you pretty much have to trade for a good pitcher or add someone in FA. Yes, Stroman or Hutchinson or whoever could surprise, but they should be 6/7 on the depth chart and not starting the year in the majors.

Official now.According to Buster Olney Jays didn't make an offer :
O's went to 4th year in their talks w/Jimenez out of concern BOS and/or TOR would go for three-year deal. But TOR/BOS didn't make offers.

People will complain...people will rant...but when Ubaldo is getting ripped apart in the AL East will these same people come on and say 'Glad we dodged a bullet on that one.'

Doesn't change the fact we're still going into the season with Happ as our 4 starter, baring something unforeseen.

Not even an offer. Frustrating to me anyway. I know he isn't the best pitcher in the world, but 12 million a year for 4 years is pretty reasonable for a #2 or 3 starter who will likely give you 190 innings a year on average. I dont get it.
