MVP Race - Lebron Vs Durant

I will come straight to the point -

In my opinion, Durant, notwithstanding his scoring stats, is nowhere near Lerbon.

Durant may be 20% better offensively than Lebron but Lebron is at least 30% better defensively and 50% better in passing.

To me, this should be a no-brainer unless anti-establishment sentiments are running high.

Agree with you but I have a feeling KD gets it especially if they win the western conference in the regular season

If KD keeps playing the way he does now he will win it. Nothing against Lebron, but with him winning it lately this will be the closest MVP race in the last few years.

The public will look for a new face this year and if it is remotely close, it will tip in Durant's favor.

Moreover, people make up their minds early. It may already be too late for Lebron but he is still capable of making a run at it.

He should stop talking about it though. A three-peat would get him on Mt Rushmore more quickly than a 5th MVP trophy would.
