Will Melo find Free Agency Answers this Weekend?

    ISOLA:

"Uh-oh, Carmelo Anthony plays with winners this weekend at All-Star festivities

The Knicks are eight games behind first-place Toronto in the Atlantic Division and just a half-game ahead of Cleveland. So ask yourself, are the Knicks building or regressing?

Anthony will ask himself that same question this weekend in New Orleans. James has won two titles, Durant looks like the MVP, Paul has Blake Griffin while Paul George has Larry Bird and Donnie Walsh.

And by all means, the Knicks need to keep Anthony as far away from Dwight Howard as humanly possible. Howard established a new model last July when he left the big market Lakers and the extra $30 million on the table to sign with the Houston Rockets. How’s it working out?

Howard has James Harden as a teammate and heads into the break with a seven-game winning streak. Howard, the NBA’s class clown, has earned the right to act like a fool in New Orleans.

Howard will be the one smiling. Same with James, Durant and Paul. Anthony is a good guy and he’ll get caught up in the moment. But inside he’ll be dying."

Just saw interview with Melo on ESPN. Sounds like he wants to bring guys to NY to play with him, but if it doesn't happen he wants to win and win now. He said money was not the issue, that he has all he needs. He wants to win.
