Jon Stewart Does it Again! (Yes Football related)

Too long did not watch (you're a monster): Michael Vick, Big Ben, Ray Lewis, Donte Stallworth, Riley Cooper, Aaron Hernandez= NFL material. Michael Sam being gay? Not NFL material apparently.

They all have the skills to play, Michael Sam will not.

Also note that it seems to be a very tiny percent that say Michael Sam can't play.

He's going to be a situational pass rusher. Nothing wrong with that.

    that was really funny.

sadly, stewart fails to mention this is the medias fault the sam will drop. If he is drafted and cut, the story will be that that team cut a gay man, not that maybe he wasn't good enough to make the team. before this came out he was a mid round pick, who don't always make the team. how do you draft him knowing the reaction that will come if you cut him if you are not 100% sure he can make the team? it's sad, but it falls squarely on the media and how the cover things like this which should be a non-issue

That's why the media is doing it. They really want to have a gay athlete that they can hold up all the time for political reasons. They're basically bullying the NFL into making sure this guy plays, or else they will call every single person in the NFL "a bigot" and harass them.

"Hater" is a term used by weak minded people in the face of legitimate criticism.

sadly it will probably have the opposite effect. teams were unsure of him before he came out, and the media circus assocaited with him now im sure will have him removed from draft boards.

    Crazy talk.

Only 3 NCAA DPOY in the last 20 years (drafts) were picked in the 3rd round and beyond (1 in the 3rd, 1 in the 4th, and one who decided not to pursue NFL career). DPOY in the SEC, arguably the NFL of the NCAA carries a bit of weight, IMO. Sam will go in the 2nd, 3rd tops.

    that was great.

Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, and Colin Kaepernick walk into a bar... To watch Russell Wilson win the Super Bowl.

****, that doesnt matter. Manziel won the heisman he wont be good either. He is too small to play end to slow to play linebacker. The team that drafts him will because he is gay and he will be out of the league in two years.

When guys don't pan out, most of the time it's not because of a lack of skills though.
