    Brewers bringing back Francisco Rodriguez

    http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/244343271.html

"The Brewers have agreed to bring back veteran reliever Francisco Rodriguez for yet another stint with Milwaukee on a one-year free agent deal. Rodriguez has pitched parts of the last three seasons with the Brewers, who traded him to Baltimore last July.

Adam McCalvy of mlb.com and others have reported that Rodriguez would earn a $3.25 million base salary with another $550,000 available in incentives."
Hopefully we signed the Brewers K-Rod from last year and not the Orioles K-Rod.

    Thoughts?

He gives them a closer option. He gives them a solid vet in the bullpen. He gives them a trade piece at the deadline for a low rate prospect. It's not much of a risk unless he really stinks it up, gets paid that $3.25 million and gets released.
