    I wanted to ask your opinion on the following?

    I came across what I think is a good article on each teams cap space available for the coming season, their FA’s & potential losses and their most “important” needs.

    I could post the link or the whole thing but we all know what will happen; 2 or 3 fan groups will discuss 2 or 3 players and it won’t go far or be that interesting for all.

    So how about we go team by team? I’ll post 3 teams at a time, we discuss those or not then 3 more etc. down the list alphabetically. Are you guys down for that approach?

    Or just let this die?

    PS. I’ll check back tomorrow for your decisions … I just got a PSD “infraction” for responding to CC Rider … was a tongue in cheek response to his numerous insults but regardless, infractions are not.

    If you are interested in discussing team issues and team FAs just take part in team forums. There is probably a FA thread or some thread where FAs are being discussed, like an off-season thread, going on right now in virtually every team forum.

    I thought it might be fun, so I asked the forum. Call me naïve but I've always considered this place a community despite our occasional arguments, but I've just been disciplined for joking with a poster who annoyed everyone.

    Even NBA, SFgiants, and Patscelts (?) etc. as Mods who witnessed it, let me down

    Tell ya what, I'll do the first three and see what you think? If not I'll stop...

    Arizona Cardinals;
    Quarterback

    Yes. For now. The Cardinals likely need to rely on Carson Palmer to compete in the short term. They might draft a developmental quarterback, though.

    Projected Cap Space

    Around $2.3 million, per Spotrac estimates.

    Draft Position

    Round 1, pick 20

    Top Needs
    •Offensive line, particularly tackles
    •Pass-rusher

    Offseason Prediction

    The Cardinals figure to be a interested in the premium offensive tackles on the free-agent market this winter. They will suck up Branden Albert from Kansas City, assuming the Chiefs don't franchise-tag him again.

    Atlanta Falcons;
    Quarterback

    Yes. Matt Ryan is coming off a disappointing year, but a full season of health from Julio Jones and Roddy White should re-ignite Ryan as one of the game's best quarterbacks.

    Projected Cap Space

    Around $13.66 million, per Spotrac estimates.

    Draft Position

    Round 1, sixth overall

    Top Needs
    •Offensive line
    •Defensive line
    •Defensive backs

    Offseason Prediction

    With so many teams needing quarterbacks before them in the draft order, the Falcons stand a good shot at getting offensive tackle Jake Matthews out of Teas A&M or pass-rusher Jadeveon Clowney. We are going to give them Matthews. When you have a quarterback like Matt Ryan, you have to protect him and piece together your defense another way.

    Baltimore Ravens;
    Quarterback

    Yes. You don't give Joe Flacco that contract after a Super Bowl and give up on him after one year.

    Projected Cap Space

    Around $11.5 million, per Spotrac estimates.

    Information from Spotrac.

    Draft Position

    Round 1, 16th or 17th overall pending coin flip

    Top Needs
    •Offensive line
    •Wide receiver
    •Tight end
    •Defensive back

    Offseason Prediction

    The Baltimore Ravens prided themselves as a running team, yet they had one of the worst rushing offenses in football. Ray Rice and Bernard Pierce figure to be given another year, so expect the Ravens to hammer offensive line in free agency and the draft. We are going to say they make the biggest offer to free-agent center Alex Mack, if only to drive up the price for the rival Browns to match it.
