    Predict our W/L for February

After 48 games we're 29-19 (30-18 this time last season).

Just for fun, what do you think our W/L will be for February?

    The schedule;

    Feb 4th - vs Charlotte
    Feb 6th - vs Chicago
    Feb 8th - @ Phoenix
    Feb 10th - vs Philadelphia
    Feb 12th - vs Miami
    Feb 19th - @ Sacramento
    Feb 20th - vs Houston
    Feb 22nd - vs Brooklyn
    Feb 24th - @ Detroit
    Feb 26th - @Chicago
    Feb 28th - @ New York.

    My prediction;

Feb 4th - vs Charlotte (Win)
Feb 6th - vs Chicago (Win)
    Feb 8th - @ Phoenix (Loss)
    Feb 10th - vs Philadelphia(Win)
Feb 12th - vs Miami (Win)
    Feb 19th - @ Sacramento (Loss)
Feb 20th - vs Houston (Win)
Feb 22nd - vs Brooklyn (Win)
    Feb 24th - @ Detroit (Win)
    Feb 26th - @Chicago (Loss)
    Feb 28th - @ New York (Loss)

    7-4 on the month.
    36-23 on the season.

Seed prediction; 6th seed by the end of the month (Phoenix #7, Memphis #8, Dallas #9)

Ehhh I think we will have a strong feb, seeing that we aren't playing a tough schedule.... i say:

    Feb 4th - vs Charlotte (L)
    Feb 6th - vs Chicago (W)
    Feb 8th - @ Phoenix (W)
    Feb 10th - vs Philadelphia (W)
    Feb 12th - vs Miami (W)
    Feb 19th - @ Sacramento (L)
    Feb 20th - vs Houston (L)
    Feb 22nd - vs Brooklyn (W)
    Feb 24th - @ Detroit (W)
    Feb 26th - @Chicago (W)
    Feb 28th - @ New York.(W)

I only say the wins because it's either a team we match up well with, (Like chicago), a team we beat with ease (Miami), or a team we haven't faced before (New york) so that's 8-3 on the month.

Plan to lose? Who's planning to lose? I'm not. I'm just being realistic. Would you bet your life savings on us going 11-0?

If we can do 10-0 with the majority of the games on the road, there's no reason we can't reasonably expect 11-0 with the majority of games at home.

Right?...... Am I missing something here?

Again, would you bet your entire life savings on it? It's not impossible it's just not probable, it's more likely that we drop a couple of games. In January we played 15 games and went 9-6.

And let's not forget who we were playing on that road trip, Cleveland(16-31), Orlando(13-35), Milwaukee(8-39), Washington (23-23), Denver (22-23). In fact the only teams worth noting on that run are Miami which was a big win, Clippers which was a big win and Phoenix. Maybe Atlanta at a push. The East is garbage in general, we were beating the garbage of the garbage for a lot of that run.

    This schedule is much tougher.

Is it possible that we go undefeated? Of course. But there's a difference between something being possible and something being plausible.

Would love to see it happen though.

Goose, if you are considering betting your life savings on anything you either have a problem, or have not saved much in your life.

    Or are certain/100% confident.

If you truly believe we will 100% win 11 games, then you would be willing to do that bet, the fact that you're not shows that you have doubts about how probable it is.

Again, a difference between something being possible and something being probable.

Like I said, would love to see it happen, but let's stop pretending it's more likely we go 11-0 than it is for us to go 7-4 or 8-2.

No, I wouldn't bet my life savings on anything. But then again, I'm broke.

Improbable is likely the correct word. But it was improbable the first time, even if our opponents were sub 500 teams.

Goose, I didn't say whether I would or would not take that bet.

In sports, there is never 100% certainty in a bet, I'd go so far as to say there is not 90% certainty.
