    Manti Te'o

    Sorry to some, but I only put this on the main for two reasons;

    1. because many people ask me about Manti Te'o. Guess it was all the pre-season gf nonsense or some are actually interested.

    All the top 4 Chargers draft picks are working out well. There's been plenty of stuff on Keenan Allen and DJ Fluker is a beast, but many wonder how Mante is coming along and all we got all year was "he's developing and learning well." Not a dominating debut, now we find out why;

    Remember that early season foot injury kept him out first 3 games?

    http://www.boltsfromtheblue.com/2014...ry-on-his-foot

    "Rookie linebacker Manti Te'o may have played his entire season with an injured foot that ultimately required surgery."

    The few games i saw i wasn't all that impressed with him. Maybe he will be better next season but he just seemed average this year, then again i only saw a couple of games.

    Ya bro, felt the same way and I saw them all, most more than once. But he quickly got a rep for not making the same mistake twice which is a good sign for a rookie. He also had a few good hits but I didn't get the hype... now I know why.

    I'm rooting for Manti. None of us can even imagine being embarrassed on that scale.

    He just didn't seem all that aggressive. Kind of reminded me of AJ Hawk for the Packers. But it was his rookie year, maybe he will pick it up next year. Just a bit early to gauge how he is going to be.

    Thanks. I'm rooting for Eli. Tough year any and most QB's can experience. He doesn't deserve half the crap he gets anyway... I'll defend Rivers when comparisons of the 2004 class come up but that doesn't mean I don't like Eli or Ben for that matter.

    Meh ~ He was healthy all year?

    I guess it's good for him that he's just blending in.

    Ya, he seemed to be more tentative many times. Wary to commit. I thought it was just because he was a rook in a complicated position thrown on the big stage. Now it might be he was favoring the injury too.
