    Additions:

    Best - Beltre
    Worst - Berkman

    Subtractions:
Best - Nelly Cruz (I think someone is going to overpay for him soon)
Worst - none. The Rangers FO is great at keeping players around and usually make the right call in these matters.

I thought the Yankees traded Burnett to the Pirates?

    Dodgers

    Additions
Best: Casey Blake - provided $20.5 million in excess value. Highest of anyone signed since 2008. I'm also surprised
Worst: Manny Ramirez - was paid $29.9 million more than he produced (not counting the $ not paid during his suspension)

    Subtractions
Best: Can't think of anyone that there was any debate about keeping that went on to perform.
Worst: Not bringing back Russ Martin? He played well with the Yankees and Pirates, but Ellis has nearly matched his production at a fraction of the price

    Braves

    Additions
Best: Billy Wagner - Only 1 season but worth ever bit of the $6.75M
Worst: Derek Lowe - We paid the Indians $10M to take him off our hands.
Wrost: Kenshin Kawakami - Paid him $22M for 3 seasons and he went 8-for-22

    Subtractions
Best: Michael Bourn - $48M whos legs are getting old, happy we pasted.
Wrost: Rafael Soriano - Best I think that we let walk but cost was main issue and had younger guys take his place.

Best FA: This is pathetic. I literally can't think of one that could qualify as "best" in the last half decade. Carlos Pena maybe? He was pretty good in his one season here, which was of course, a total loss.

Worst FA: Ah, now we have some options. I'll go Milton Bradley ftl though, what a ****ing clown that guy was.

Yeah the guy mashed lefties (starters specifically, struggled mightily against penman) but that only goes so far. Give me the one season of Pena.

Pena produced 2.2 fWAR. The value of those WAR was $9.9 million *source. He was paid $9.95996 million. He basically came out as a wash.

Schierholtz produced 1.4 fWAR. The value of his WAR was $7.2 million *source. He was paid $5 million. He produced $2.2 million in excess value.

Best: In free agency Grienke or Ryu I would have to think. In trade either Adrian or Hanley.
Worst: Andrew Jones and it's not even close.

    Subtractions
    Best: Probably Andrew Jones again.
Worst: Any one of real value hasn't disappeared in while.

It was clearly Andrew Jones. At least Manny lit a fire under the team for his short duration, what hurts his value was his defense.

If we could go back a few more seasons we could add Jason Schmidt
