Montreal Canadiens (28-20-5) at Boston Bruins (34-15-3)

The Montreal Canadiens make their first trip to the Garden this season as the Bruins begin game 2 of a 3-game homestand. The Boston Bruins have been on an absolute tear as of late as they have a 4-game winning streak going along with a 6-game point streak (5-0-1) and have tallied 18 goals in their past 3 games (scoring 6 in each). While the Bruins have been red hot, the Canadiens have been pretty meh as they have compiled a record of 4-6 in their past 10 games.

With the month of January coming to a close and only 5 more games, including tonight, before the Olympic break begins, the Boston Bruins will look to further expand their lead in the Division along with increasing their lead over 4th place Montreal to 12 games. Why is this important? The top 3 teams in each division automatically qualify for the post-season!

As always between these two teams, energy will be high and the crowd will be very lively. The Canadiens know exactly how hot the Bruins have been and will do anything and everything to try and end that.

For the Bruins all we want to see if them continuing to play with the same level of compete they have over this streak and continue playing excellent hockey.

This should be a fun one...LET'S GO BRUINS!!!!!!!

Don't understand why the Bruins seem to play with little intensity against this team.

    Pretty much.

Also not helping that we're having more turnovers than the 49ers in the 4th quarter against the Seahawks

Even more shocked that Julien pulled Rask after 3 goals. Poor move on his part

Rask hasn't been that good lately. He has had a couple good games against bad teams but against quality teams he has stunk.
