if Dragic makes the all star game, he will get 1million

I just read this. If Dragic get elected an all star, he will be rewarded 1 million by the FO of Suns. This is a clause in his contract.
In all seriousness, I think this kind of incentive really is good and should be a practice by more teams. Man, the Suns were supposed to tank before the season starts but as u can see, in the beginning of the season ,they made a run and they are now 7th !

He deserves to make the AS game if Kobe, CP3 & Westbrook all sit it out like their projected to.

Even if one of them plays, he should still make it.

CP3 said he wants to play. Harden and Tony Parker will make it over him. Who else does he have to beat out?

Even though Dragic has had an excellent season so far, I don't think he'll make the West reserves list as there are too many quality guards ahead of him in the West.

Performance incentives are very common, they just aren't really reported on.

So this is the wisdom of Suns. Give him a empty dream to pursuit, haha

They'll make it as reserves, Dragic can still replace Kobe CP3 and Westbrook.

    Hey, it's working isn't it?

Honestly, I can't really see Dragic improving much going forward. I'd like to see him get his 3P% back up again, but other than that I think he's peaked. There's no reason why he can't maintain this level of play however.

Still a chance of Kobe and/or CP3 playing. After that, Harden, Lillard, and Parker are the main ones. Even if both Kobe and CP3 are both out that's 4 guards, so he'd have to either beat one of them out or beat out front-court guys for a wildcard spot - Howard and Aldridge will make it, and it's sort of hard to see Davis or Cousins not make it, so he'd probably be in competition with ZBo, Ibaka, Duncan, Nowitzki, Lee, and maybe even Pek for the last wildcard spot. Guys like Lawson or Conley could even sneak ahead as guards.
So he could make it, but it's a lot of competition still. With either CP3 or Kobe playing it becomes really tough, and if by some miracle both played it'd be pretty much over for him.

He's not going to make the All-Star team.

If he were in the east, he really would have shot.
