Post La La: Melo will stay with Knicks

    For what it's worth...

    http://espn.go.com/new-york/nba/stor...ew-york-knicks

La La Anthony "definitely" thinks her husband, free-agent-to-be Carmelo Anthony, will re-sign with the New York Knicks this summer.

"I definitely think he will stay," La La Anthony said in an interview with Bravo TV's "Watch What Happens Live." "I know that he wants to stay, and I support him wherever he wants to go.

"Listen, I used to live in Denver with him. If I can live in Denver, I can live anywhere. I just want him to be happy."

If we had a similar season as last year, I would've liked our chances.
But if you hear Melo, all he talks about is winning a championship.
Our team is an embarrassment right now.

Its even worse now because Chicago has a legit shot at signing him.
I think ultimately it comes down to what we can do this offseason.
It will be the same situation that the nets were in when Deron became a free agent.
If we can pull off a couple of trades with the expiring contracts that we have, he'll probably stay.
I can guarantee that he won't wait until 2015 for us to get him help and it will take another season to fill out the roster.

Probably something most of us expected but as bad as we've been this year, it was tough to say for sure.
Happy to keep him onboard, making NY a highly attractive locale for Love/Rondo next year.

I know a couple of posters, one in particular that might be hitting there heads against a wall, for hearing that Melo's chances of resigning just got better.

He's going to retire a Knick. James Dolan loves him some Melo.

I hope melo retires a Knick. However if we sign him and cant get him decent pieces it will be a complete waste of money because he is not the kind of player that can lead a team to a champioship by himself

Hello????? " I definitely think" what part of that don't you understand. ..she didn't say " melo will stay" like the thread says...
(I think ) is not a yes or no answer especially when you add " I definitely think" doesn't change jack ******* ..
I can say they same thing about a hundred things... hmmmm let's see.... I definitely think I'm gonna wake up tomorrow. .
Ummm. i definitely think I'm hungry..
Ummmm...I definitely think LeBron was almost a knick...
Ummmmm.. I definitely think the knicks will make the playoffs. ...

See how unreliable that story is??? There is nothing in that story that says..
( LA LA SAYS MELO WILL STAY) ...TOTALLY MISLEADING. ....
And I'm saying it about espn story and thread...
