Still, Jacobs insists that he remained more than respectful towards head coach Jim Harbaugh and the entire organization despite being "pissed off."
"They didnít want to release me when I kept going to them with pure respect, which I usually donít have when Iím pissed off," Jacobs said on WFAN. "I kept it respectful the whole time. They just felt we really canít use him, letís try to suspend him. I tell you what, I got my money back and playoff and Super Bowl money. Everything. For two years in a row I got everything."
Jacobs also revealed that not only did he eventually get his money recouped from the 49ers, but he also got his playoff and Super Bowl pay despite not being on the team.
However, Jacobs getting back the money he deserved is not necessarily the real story. The real story is his opinion on Harbaugh, who he clearly does not like as either a coach or a human being.
"I have two rings and he don't. He's a *****," Jacobs said. "It's not that he was a *****; he is a ***** and that's why he hasn't won anything."
New York will never be the same without Jacobs. Always candid, always honest and rarely wrong. He will be missed.
