    Forbes: Knicks NBA's most valuable team

    While it's cool to be the sport's most lucrative franchise, I think it actually hurt us. As is so often discussed on these forums, Dolan's sole motivation seems to be making $$$, which makes it tougher for him/the FO to see the big picture and work to put the franchise in a better position to actually compete for rings.

    Obviously, making money is important -- it gives the franchise spending money when it comes to free agency and pampering fans in shiny new arena, but there's a simultaneous overemphasis on it by management that continually hurts our long-term upside.

    Imagine if they won 16 championships like the Lakers and didn't suck in the 2000's. They'd be worth like $3 billion Lol.
