    Improvement for our team.

Even if he buttfumbles once a year is take him as an upgrade.

    Playoffs, AFC championship experience.

Sanchez is terrible. I'd rather take my chances with McGloin.

We already know what we could get from Sanchez. It's not much.

Yes but we had one of the worst defenses in the NFL.... not saying much.

Geno is awful he had 12 TDS 21 INTS and a QBR of 35 and on top of that 4 fumbles.

If Mark cant start over him, no ty - Imagine how much worse his stats would be if we had a real defense he played against

but yes he had 219 1 TD and 1 INT against our team.... that is really "raping" us in their 10 point win. I would give more credit to their running game that put up over 140 yards and 2 TDs - are defense is bad enough to make anyone look decent

Geno is for the future. He had a longer term and higher upside than Sanchez.

Sanchez is a stop gap veteran.
He can start for a year or 2 while a rookie develops.

He Doesn't have to be the future or amazing. Just fill in til our rookie gets ready.

Sanchez had a defense that helped him more than he helped them . Pass...something he can't do with any accuracy...

Sanchez was thrown into the fire too quick in NY. NY is a hard place to play with a lot of expectations. Not saying that there isn't expectation for the remaining 30 teams. But in places like LA and NY, it's hard for some players to meet fans expectations! Now, I personally think Sanchez left college too soon and wasn't ready for the NFL. It was a money move and I really wouldn't say it cost him, but it did hurt his career.

Now do i think he could be an option for the Raiders. I don't know. I am not against it or for it. Maybe a change of scenery is what he needs with a clean slate. A lot of QB's end up having great careers after changing teams. But like Indy Raider said, he does bring playoff experience and he would come very cheap! Maybe not a bad option if he is released.

you can say what you want. When the o line disappeared, the running game disappeared, Sanchez was a non factor. We can do a lot better than him. The fact is that most NFL QB's would have done just as well with the O line and running game, not to mention a very good defense. Maybe a backup, but nothing more than that, please!
