The Boston Bruins are looking to bounce back from a 3-2 shootout loss against the defending Stanley Cup Champion, Chicago Blackhawks yesterday in Chicago. The Bruins are also looking for a bit of revenge as just 11 days ago the Kings defeated the Bruins, 4-2 in Los Angeles.
With Tuukka Rask getting the start yesterday, the Bruins will go with Chad Johnson in net this afternoon and this will give Rask 5 days off rest as the Bruins will not hit the ice again until Saturday. Opposing Rask will be none other than Jonathan Quick for the Kings.
The Bruins will also be down yet another D-man as Adam McQuaid will miss the game to a leg injury suffered in yesterday's game.
Here's to hoping the Bruins can get at least another point out of today's game but this will not be easy, especially with McQuaid out. Going to have to play tight defense and hopefully the Bruins can come out with strong momentum...feed off the energy of the crowd.
LET'S GO BRUINS!!!!!!!!!
