if we win this game (really win) there might be something wrong with this team.

I'm sure the media elites would say that the season isn't even half over, but make no mistake: this is a must-lose game. If we win this game we can forget about a top-five draft pick or making the playoffs. That would be hell.

The last thing this teams needs is to develop confidence and start believing in each other. We have way too many team guys as it is. If Nick was the Mamba we could count on him coming back today and jacking up 25 shots and wiping out any chemistry that developed in Boston, but Nick Young is not Kobe Bryant. Nick may even buy into the team concept and share the ball today, and that would be bad.

Part of me wants to see Kelly blossom into an NBA starter by dropping another 20 on the Raps, but that's not what's best for the team. What's best is for everybody to have a good game, Pau to get 24/12/6, and the Lakers to lose. Because if we don't lose, we will be on a winning streak for the first time in almost exactly a month, and could conceivably have the tenth worst record in the league this afternoon. (We had a shot at the fourth worst record had we lost to Boston.)

The only bit of good news around the league is that Boston plays Orlando today and they both can't tank. We have no chance of catching Orlando so we need Boston to win to make up for our victory on Friday. (They'll still be worse than us even if we lose, but only by a game or so.)

We have 10 players active today. I can't remember the last time that happened.

R-Kelly! love that shot. I would like to see him pull up over a defender though

Every time Manny Harris makes a basket (or even gets put in the game) Nick Young dies a little.
