Oklahoma City Thunder @ Houston Rockets

How is there not already a thread for this? C'mon guys. I can't be the only one watching these games.

Anyways, great second quarter by Houston so far. They're absolutely lighting it up from beyond the arc. But defensively they could certainly be playing a lot better.

Unbelievable second quarter. Houston shot 12-19 from the 3-point in the first half and Motiejunas somehow has 13 points after the first two quarters. Hopefully Houston can keep this up, though. It's promising that they have a double-digit lead and the Thunder have been to the line more often.

Did you see how Brooks made adjustments at halftime? McHale is incapable of doing this. The 2nd half is what the
playoffs will be like. McHale had no answers for the aggressive defensive style OKC played. How can we be considered
a powerhouse when we can't even beat an OKC team without their 2nd best player? 73 points in the first half and less
than 30 in the 2nd half. I will continue railing on McHale until he is gone. I simply don't think he is a quality coach.

How does a team go from scoring 41 points in the 2nd quarter to scoring 19 points in the second half? Unimpressed and frustrated...

It's easier than you think . The rockets only have one guy who can score in the half court and that's harden. The rockets scored 73 points because OKC wasnt closing out on shooters and didn't slow down the game . The game of basketball comes down to making plays in the half court I've told u guys time and time again the rockets don't have that . Dmo gave the rockets a spark but he ain't much . Where was Lin? Man that guy sucks . Dwight? Soft! Parson? Can't make plays he a shooter . We have to make trades the half court game is suspect until Dwight step his offensive game .

Exactly what I was thinking. And yeah, McHale is starting to rub me the wrong way. Was his half time speech "You guys are playing great! Just keep doing what you're doing"?

Pathetic, embarrassing and I'm thoroughly disgusted with that game. Did Casspi even play? Garcia hit his one three pointer then disappeared again. Lin didn't show up. They couldn't feed Dwight anymore? DMo played well then didn't. It was a great night until it wasn't and then it went to **** pretty ****ing quick.

we're just inconsistent. I didn't watch the game, but I was hoping to get a quality win against OKC. They seem to have our number. Not sure what the answer is here. I'm just hoping we get hot around playoff time.

I did think this team would be more explosive with Dwight and Harden paired up

League Pass doesn't let me see the game until tonight or tomorrow (I have no cable/TNT). But I really want to chart the second half shots for the Rockets. Esp. were there more contested 3's? Or were the threes just missed? Howard got plenty of shots, but missed. Why? Were they against doubleteams?

Lin didn't seem to get many touches, is it because he wasn't hustling or because he was trying to get the ball to the right man?

I seen a lot of good shots but they were missing. okc was missing also but they made it when it counts. howard was getting cheap shots from perkins and ibaka and that adams dude. but that's no excuse. I know its no excuse also, but to me they just got gassed. don't know why we were stuck playing back to backs against a rested okc twice now. I know everyone plays back to backs but can we play a different team. lol

The guy who can score in half court is Howard. He did it as well as anybody for years in Orlando. We just don't give him the ball. Hell, we can't even make a pick and roll play.

The Rockets just didn't have any game plan. They were just jacking up threes, and they were falling in the first half, mostly because OKC was playing horrible defense and everything was uncontested. Once they pressured the offense closing in on the three-point line, things just fell apart.
