Really poor effort to start this game. Expected much more coming off a very bad weekend playing a bad team.

Flyers did not match the Sabres effort that period.

There's never - NEVER - an excuse to be out-hustled. ESPECIALLY by an inferior team.

Better period, but they gotta put the puck in the net.

    Gus needs to play.

Im starting to think that Grossman would be the best guy to scratch. Streit would benefit from having him as his pair so much. Mez cant sit. Luke needs to play. Grossman is the only one who makes sense really.

Thats just bad all around. Way too much open ice, not the best goal for Mason either.

There is another reason why Grossman shouldnt be playing...nobody between him and the net, waits for defender to come block his shot.

not a reason to sit him. He was out of his element. If Timonen, Gus, Mez, or Streit got overpowered in their own crease allowing a weak rebound to go in, guess we should bench them too.

Grossmann was brought in here because the Flyers had no physical shutdown guys to block shots, clear the crease, eliminate rebounds, etc etc. If you bench him, you set the clock back 2 years and make the same mistake again. Luckily you still have Luke Schenn but thats not much.

personally think the bench Grossmann talk is ridiculous. You'd basically have Luke Schenn and the glee club out there playing defense

in all seriousness, i wish we had kept count of wins this team has stolen after playing like hell. One of those games where they won but I know Berube is going to be pissed in his interviews.

This has to be the 8th or 9th awful win of the season.
