    CHA @ Wolves 1/10

I keep waiting for this team to turn things around, and they never do. We had an 8 game stretch, where I felt we were going to go 7-1 in, and turn the ship around...instead, we are currently 4-3 in that stretch.

Tonight is the night they turn it around though...

well, we just lost by 1. That means we win by 28 tonight, then lose by 3 to the Spurs..

this team will be historic as an outlier on point differential versus actual at this rate. Stats will say we should be 52-30, and we will be 41-41.

I'll be studying and checking the game. I think we blow them out, starting from the first quarter. Somewhat sloppy second, strong third. They catch us up some, when backups get garbage time in 4th

Why can't Love or Pek do what Ronnie does? I am not talking about shot blocking, but how about they just move their feet on defense and try to freaking stop someone.

    PSD Grammar Lesson #1:

    a) their - stands for "belonging to them"
    b) there - means "over there" as in location
    c) they're - short for "they are"

I wonder why nobody has found Brewer at all tonight? He is always parked in the corner, why not feed him a couple of times to see what happens?

Hopefully winning this game will help to raise moral for the tough game tomorrow against the spurs. I think that we can all agree that for a solid win they really need to step it up on the defence, transition defence specifically. Defence against the suns yesterday was actually decent. Best defence they have played all season if you ask me. They only lost because their offence was poo that game. With Love and Pek in the paint, they have the potential to be a defencive tank. They just need to be more aggressive. Defence will make them a playoff team. If their bench steps up their game and Rubio learns to shoot, they will be a playoff winning team.

Our overall defense isn't horrible. The gameplan is, don't foul, and force turnovers. That theory is great for teams that don't have internal toughness. I am sick of our defensive strategy against teams that attack the paint.

Pek, per synergy and NBA.com stats, is the worst rim protector of anyone who plays 20 mpg or more in the game. Love is underrated on defense, but will never make an all defensive team..

Good game, as expected. Nice contribution from the bench, Turiaf is awesome compared to Pekovic/Love combo, Cunningham made a nice block as well. Shved is playing a bit more aggressively lately. If he can step it up, making Barea/Shved combo more effective, we suddenly have a good bench unit Turiaf/Dante/Bud/Shved/Barea Add Luc the specialist, and Hummel the most awesome 12th man.

Send Dieng to DLeague as well, I hear Shabazz is tearing it up.

I was talking more about Pek's sheer size rather than skill set. He just needs to attack the ball more and be more aggressive.

I really think Adelman likes the "do not foul" approach, which means players will tend to shy from contact sometimes. There is a reason we lead the league in FTA, and lead the league in least FTA from our opponent. I don't like the style though, as you obviously don't. I understand how valuable our starting PF/C are, and we don't want to get them in foul trouble because we don't have crap on the bench, but I do wish we were more physical at every position.
