How did James have a better game than Melo, besides being more efficient?

Melo had three more rebounds, one less assist and one more steal and shot 50% from the field.

    LeBron had SIX turnovers...

Melo. He won. He did what he felt was best for his team and defeated a superior team without a complete roster.

LBJ did what he does best this year: scored exceptionally efficiently while taking mostly shots he knew would pad his stats for his 60% goal. I think that chase he is on will cost them some victories and will be interesting to see how his style of play differs in the playoffs if he elects to say "game on" instead of just playing the game. IDK. Maybe the game is too boring for him and he needs new goals to keep his hunger up. Just my 2 cents.

Well the question is: Does 3 more points on 7 less field goal attempts make up for 4 turnovers? To me it depends on how bad the turnovers were. Didn't have a chance to watch it yet, so I can't really give a fair opinion there.

Might be a homer pick, but I went with Melo this time around.

Mostly because, for the first time, he and LBJ actually went head to head guarding each other and Melo (objectively) came out ahead. He did a great job defending him and did a great job taking it to him. Plus, and most importantly, he got the win. And a win in somewhat convincing fashion.

I voted for Lawson.....Melo had a great stat line minus taking 24 shots to score 29 pts...

The order of the stats effects the opinions of the respondents

    Order it by the matchup
    KD
    Lawson
    LeBron
    Melo

Melo had a great game because he won and defended LeBron a large part of the game. He won, the head to head matchup, like Durant, but won the game as.a.result.. And did so efficiently, 50% shooting, 8 boards 5 dimes, couple steals nd clutch shots to beat the defending champs in a much needed win
