Odd fit, seeing as Jay is the one that pick Daulton over Kaepernick.

The better hire today was James Franklin to PSU.

On 7/20/14 we took our Calla and Pebble for a stay while on vacation. On 7/21 Calla, who is diabetic, was given 10x her insulin dosage. She wasn't found until 12 hours after being overdosed. After a week and a half of suffering we made the tough decision to put her down because of brain damage and a lack of a quality of life. She was only 7 and her breed lives until their 20's. Over half of our beloved Calla's life was stolen from us.

Scheftler trying to convince everyone that RGIII has been on vacation and has had no knowledge/impact on the hiring. Lulz.

This is the guy Bruce Allen wanted. Pretty evident. McVay, Haslett, and Morris are all hold overs.

And while I don't love this move, gotta stand behind it. One thing I do love though.

Now I hope the Redskins trade up for Kelvin Benjamin. Our 2nd rounder + Cousins. Gruden has himself a new AJ Green, paired with Garcon, Morris, Jordan Reed, RG3, and possibly Andrew Hawkins? That would be sick

Redskins TE coach Sean McVay is expected to become Washington's OC, per league sources, Raheem Morris a possible defensive coordinator.
    Jason La Canfora ‏@JasonLaCanfora 14m
Jim Haslett will remain the Redskins D coordinator in Washington, according to sources on Jay Gruden's new staff
Everything else looks to be in house hires.

It's still a top job, no matter what you think.

Scholarships are getting restored. I bet they get postseason ban lifted this summer. I think we're seeing the NCAA is kinda 'admitting' they were wrong. Especially with the fact the new PSU president is hanging a multi-hundred-million lawsuit over the NCAA's head.

But back on topic. I think it will work, but keeping that many defensive assistants is a mistake. Fire Haslett, bring on Wade Phillips.

Haslett has never really had any money to build his defense. He better do something this year though. Don't like this and was hoping we'd switch to a 4-3 but oh well. Expect 2-3 big name defensive free agent signings.

    True...

I wonder how long it will take for RGIII to disagree with Gruden and call him out in the media!

Man this has arguably been one of the worst organizations in the NFL over the last 20 years, 4 playoff appearances and I think just 1 win. Snyder is a terrible owner who refuses to let go.

They were doomed the second they let Bruce Allen take control of personnel. Then they hire a pawn who will have ZERO say. What coach comes in and cant hire his own staff? The Redskins D has been TERRIBLE and they keep Haslet?

They will continue the trend of the last 20 years without more changes IMO.
