    Dan Le Batard

I commend Le Batard for his actions as a protest against the old school guild known as the "Baseball Writers Association of America" because they were useless in 2013 and they elected only a few people in 2014. Steroid users are all over the current HOF eligible players' era. So we cannot have steroids limiting players. I am sorry, but juicing is fine by me if it's legalized within baseball. If players choose $, fame, etc instead of more "manhood" or being viewed as more talented, that's their decision.

I know a lot of people who don't like Miami sports aren't fond of LeBatard, but I think he's awesome...and I think this is awesome. Good for him

Every era had some type of PED whether steroids or another form of something that provided a competitive edge

    Good for Dan

Bonds and Clemens top 5 baseball players of all time and should be in the HOF

The process is broken when the best hitter in the history of the MLB is not in the Museum of Baseball. Just plain wrong.

When Bonds, Rose, Sosa, etc don't get in, the voters are at fault. They need to stop being arrogant "preservers" of an ancient time in baseball. The modern era is totally different.

so have the HOF players that are still alive do the selecting/voting. That's fair right? Have the best do the evaluating.

    Frank Thomas :
"I've got to take the right stance too,'' Thomas said. "No, they shouldn't get in. There shouldn't be cheating allowed to get into the Hall of Fame.''

I'd be willing to bet that most HOFers would share the same opinion as Frank.

OR... should we let PSD posters do the voting?

Oh that'd be great then we'd just have a HOF with only Bagwell and Trout in it

Hopefully the BBWAA will notice the difference in thoughtfulness between LeBatard and guys like Murray Chass ('I said “barring a change in my thinking,” this could be my last vote. My thinking has changed, and all of you critics can blame yourselves. How could I relinquish my vote knowing how much it annoys you? I plan to vote a year from now even if I just send in a blank ballot. You would love that.' and Gurnick and realize that there's a flaw in the process.

That doesn't mean it's O.K. and it doesn't mean we should accept it.

It's called the veteran committee, and it will happen eventually.

FWIW players in the HoF have often expressed disgust at Bonds, Sosa, etc.
"The 90 wins is about challenge. It's about changing the conversation. It's about framing questions for ourselves as to how we get there. So I stand by the notion that we need to get better, and in doing so we need to set concrete goals for ourselves so that we have sort of specific conversations among ourselves about how we're going to get there." -- Mr. Alderson
