You're the GM: Joc Pederson for Homer Bailey

    Joc Pederson for Homer Bailey

Homer Bailey: He's a free agent after 2014. The Reds might be willing to move him since they might not be able to re-sign him.

If you were the GM of the Dodgers and Walk Jocketty called you up and proposed this deal would you accept it?

^^ I feel same way.. If I knew he'd be willing to work out some kind of extension, then yes but if not then no.. Losing Kershaw AND homer in one off season would really suck.. Kershaw should always be main focus tho, lock him up first

    Your baby can't do this

    No way in hell!

You dont trade your #1 prospect to rent a number 3/4 starter for 1 year. And if we're going to spend money on pitching its going to be given to Kershaw so, no.

Nope. He won't be necessary if we pull off a tanaka signing. Bailey is a 4 or 5 in our rotation anyway. We can package joc for a better pitcher anyway if we really wanted to imo.

I mean, where is Joc going to play? Our OF is stacked, and unless we trade at least two of them (or their legs fall off, which may actually happen lol).

If trading Joc means we get back a 200IP 3-ish win player I'd do it. An extension would certainly help, no doubt.

Just because it's stacked doesn't mean we should just throw him away for one year of Baily.

Well for one year, I might not do it. If we could get him to sign an extension, it would be a good deal IMO.

I agree with the forum here.

Bailey's a fine pitcher and I wouldn't mind him in the rotation, but at the price of Joc + $100 million.

Better keep joc. I am not convinced our outfield will ever be. Fully healthy. Plus, if joc comes thru. Trade any of them not named Peterson or piug Jury is still out on kemp for me any way
