    New Rule Change

If you get hurt and it stops the game, you have to sit out the quarter. Thoughts?

Eh - I've been for the drive. Come back next drive.
DO NOT TRUST YOUR PETS TO NEMACOLIN WOODLANDS KENNEL

On 7/20/14 we took our Calla and Pebble for a stay while on vacation. On 7/21 Calla, who is diabetic, was given 10x her insulin dosage. She wasn't found until 12 hours after being overdosed. After a week and a half of suffering we made the tough decision to put her down because of brain damage and a lack of a quality of life. She was only 7 and her breed lives until their 20's. Over half of our beloved Calla's life was stolen from us.

No because then the players might try and get up and play even if they are hurt.. Safety of the players is number 1 sitting out one play is enough

One drive is a perfect medium.

Not long enough to risk player safety and trying to stay out, but long enough to discourage faking.

If agree with the drive. Watched teams do it repeatedly this year against our offense. Needs fixed.

A quarter is too long. If a guy gets the wind knocked out of him they shouldn't have to sit out for the rest of the quarter. I'd be ok with a drive.

    Yeah, one drive makes sense.

Eh, that's stupid. Do we really need to help offenses more?

And then. He made them pancakes.

That's stupid. One play. Maybe two. There was a play where Cam got the wind knocked out of him against the Rams when he got hammered on hand-off. He had to sit out one play and it was basically like giving the defense a free play. Pretty much any team that loses their QB for a down/drive/quarter is basically forfeiting those plays.

What happens if someone gets the wind knocked out of them or something? They have to sit the entire drive even if their ok?

If the NFL truly cares about player safety then yes.

In reality it will only hurt the players who aren't faking it. Whoever is going to fake an injury will think twice about it. I guess it stops the players who decide to fake an injury to slow the game down and at the same time hurts the honest one. I don't really like it.

Once a third player goes down that team has to start using their timeouts to take care of the injured player. That would fix the fake injury thing. If you are out of first half timeouts you start spending your second half.

    Yep, do some dramatic!
