You mix that with, the FA depth at the positions that we need (CB, S, DE) there will be much better deals then what people on here are saying. Plus, if you look at the deals handed out last FA at those position, very few where for large numbers.

I agree. Bears will have more money to spend than last year but will have more players to sign.

The offense is set minus C, so they can be a cheap fix with either Garza ( 1 year) or draft & Boggs.

This team should have $8-10 more mil this year to spend. They front loaded 2 of their big contracts (Cutler & Jennings) & 2 last year & Gould this year (Not that big of a deal).

Through the draft & extra cash in Free Agency, this defense should be much better than last year & if they do it smart & go young w/ upside, this defense will get better & better.
    No ideas for the moment.

Seriously we'd score probably 38 PPG. Unfortunately we'd prolly give up 40.

You keep saying that, but it doesn't make it true. C isn't even the position that needs immediate addressing IMO (and our OC was probably our 3rd best player this year).

We're going to need a second RB somewhere. We really NEED another TE. We really only have 2 WRs worth a damn (assuming Earl is cut).

Our starters are great - our depth on O isn't really that good.

For anyone that wanted to know. Braxton Miller will return and Ryan Shazier will declare for the draft.

So you're telling me that the same offense from last year that was 2nd in scoring & 7th in yards while losing maybe only their C & a back up RB who didn't do a thing, and Rosario (who didn't do a damn thing) is a huge issue?

Fendi Onubun is in the wings, Tony Scheffler could be an easy option for $1 mil or less a year & Garza was decent but was not remotely close to our 3rd best player. Marshall, Jeffery, Forte, Slauson & Cutler we're all better. They could address C in the draft but it is a big need. They need to keep this line in good shape.

Michael Ford, I feel is ready to step into the RB2 role & take care of things.

"We only have 2 WRs worth a damn" Really? Marquess Wilson didn't even get a shot & is going to be a great #3 for us. This team usually only uses 3 WR's, hence Wilson's 2 catches as the #4 & Earl only had only had 32 catches for 243 yards. We don't even use a 3rd WR much with Forte & Martellus.

The depth isn't as bad as you make it out to be. I would rather have Earl take a pay cut & keep him at $1 mil but let Wilson take the 3rd WR role.

They will get another TE this year & have solid options out there for cheap.

Defense is the focus, that is a fact.
    No ideas for the moment.

Well not even our starters on defense are that good so let's fix that first before we worry about our 4th WR 2nd TE and 2nd RB.
