    Best Rookies of 2013

Now that the season is over for a lot of teams, I thought it may be an appropriate time to evaluate the rookie class. The question is simple, which rookies were the best of the class thus far? For everyone that is going to say it is premature and give them a few years, I know. It's just an evaluation of this one season. So, who are the emerging stars? Specifically, who are the under-the-radar guys?

    The ones we've heard about:

    Keenan Allen
    Eddie Lacy
    Larry Warford
    Kyle Long
    Gio Bernard
    Zac Stacy
    Mike Glennon

    Tyrann Mathieu
    Kiko Alonso
    Sheldon Richardson
    Star Lotulelei
    Eric Reid
    Kenny Vaccaro

Who are the other guys that didn't receive as much praise?

Dwayne gratz is our number 1 corner when healthy.

Ace Sanders is our 2/3 wr and is a weapon in space.

Cyprien was a solid for a small school and improved every week.

Vince Williams and La"Veon Bell in Pittsburgh had some good seasons.

Not to mention Vince Williams was a 6th round pick.

I know he got picked on against Peyton, but Marcus Cooper was very solid this year.

Milliner finally started to figure it out the last month of the season. Not nearly in the "best" category lol.

    Richardson is that guy.

Cordarrelle patterson. No one seems to talk about him.

Is it just me or have we had more Rookies have better seasons that usual?

Yea, not the flashy QB type season, but more performers than usual.

Cordarrelle Patterson quietly had a very good year, when they let him loose.

Xavier Rhodes improved every week for us.

Sharrif Floyd showed improvement for us as well.

    For Detroit -

Warford - We've all heard about him, he's on your list.

Ansah - Hugely underrated. Pass rush was great, 8 sacks despite missing 2 games(I think), and run defense was amazing, huge reason we went from 17th last year, to 6th this year in run defense.

Fauria - Great athlete and amazing redzone threat, can't wait to see what he can do when he develop his route running.

Sam Martin - ****ing amazing punter. Cost us a game with a bad punt, but pretty much the entire rest of the year he was great.

This was easily the best rookie class we've had in years.
