I honestly think if they come out and have a solid game- they can be in the mix or destroying ANY team in the NBA.

    By solid I mean

    1) Play defense with a decent level of effort through out the game (not little 4 or 5 minute stretches in the second half when they are down by 12)

    2) Take decent care of the ball- try to limit turnovers to under 15.

    3) Make free throws at a decent % as a team. none of this 2-4 from barnes and from klay.

    4) shooters have decent games from the field. (im not saying curry needs to go 13-17 or anything but he cant go 5-17.)

These are all things this group is capable of doing with a little bit of focus and preparation.

They have to be better than decent if they want to keep up with the defending champs.

You are forgetting that the refs can call in favor of the other team.

The spurs game is a perfect example.

Lets be realistic for once. If the HEat looking to win this game, they will win it end of story but if they are still getting over the likely hangover from the big New Years festivities, they will be fair game where we can take this one.
