    Eddie Lacy Appreciation Thread

So I was just looking at some numbers for AP and Lacy and saw some eerily similar numbers...

So for these stats I subtracted Eddie's 1 carry for 10 yards and a first down against the Redskins due to him being knocked out after the first play of the game because of a concussion he sustained from a hit by Merriweather.

In 14 games AP had 1437 yards on 308 touches

In 14 games Lacy had 1425 yards on 318 touches

    AP had 70 first downs

    Lacy had 72 first downs

    AP had 11 touchdowns

    Lacy had 11 touchdowns

    AP lost 3 fumbles

    Lacy lost 1 fumbles

AP 31 rushes of at least 10 yards

Lacy 29 rushes of at least 10 yards

AP 6 for 20 on rushes inside the ten yard line

Lacy 10 for 22 on rushes inside the ten yard line

AP 12 for 18 on 3rd down rushes going for a 1st down

Lacy 11 for 17 on 3rd down rushes going for a 1st down

Both players played through numerous injuries throughout the season and still each averaged over 100 yards per game.

Lacy was number one in the NFL in rushes inside the 3 yard line going 7 for 8 in those situations.

I am not arguing by any means that Lacy is better or will be better than AP...Im just pointing out that Lacy had a very comparable season to that of AP, which no one would have expected before the season started. Go EDDIE! and go packers!
the packers have so much talent...

Man, I love Lacy. He has been great all season and he has played the last few games with a bum ankle/foot. He's a tough SOB. Lacy also seems to have the right attitude. Awesome guy.

And did you include the preseason since Lacy has only 1fumble (lost) against the 49ers in the regular season

Lol someone said Rodgers ****s Bears in here and I'm like wait a minute...then brewer's brother made it for me since I don't have photoshop or anything.

It was hardly my idea or work.

I thought he'd be good but he exceeded by expectations. So happy to have him.

As long as he stays healthy there's really nothing that can stop him. He's getting much better in the pass aspect, receiving and blocking too. I think guys are even getting timid about him in pro. I've seen a couple guys see him shoot out to pick them up and they didn't exactly go balls to the wall after.

You notice later in the game they're not as enthused to tackle him.

No not at all. No one likes to tackle a guy like him, similar to how u see defenders go after AP, timidly.

I think Lacy being new to people they were like oh this guy ain't that tough, little rookie, then after 3 or 4 times they're like oh ****.

I appreciate Lacy. Would like to see him with ROY honors. Don't know much about Allen, hope voters consider the work Lacy did w/out Rodgers

If anything him and Allen should split it although i do think Lacy is more deserving.
