Well this pops up every other week. But I'll post my top 10. Will likely be torn apart, but frankly I don't give a ****. Takes more than short term stats to impress me.

    1) Peyton Manning
    2) Drew Brees
    3) Tom Brady
    4a) Aaron Rodgers
    4b) Ben Roethlisberger
    6a) Cam Newton
    6b) Russell Wilson
    6c) Phillip Rivers
    9) Matt Ryan (Still had a decent year despite the record)
    10) Jay Cutler

He falls in the short term stats to me.

Do it over a full 16 games and I'll likely put him in there. Right in with Rivers, Wilson, and Newton.

Reason why I have that rule is how many backups have come in, put up huge stats, then fail to live up to the first spurt they did.

I don't disagree. If I'm ranking going in to next season though, I have to include him since he has been playing at a top 10 level currently. That's all. I'm not saying he is a for sure top 10 guy going forward, but now at least, he is.

No knock on Foles. He's #11 to me.

I just rather have those 10 guys. And yes I know I put Cutler up there. He's a similar situation to me as Foles. Not in the lack of starts. But in they are both in a system that massively helpful. Only two guys up there get more help from the run game than Foles: Wilson and Newton.

If this were Top 10 QB's for the next 5 seasons I would put Foles right up there. But this is going into next year, so I have him just on the edge.

So Foles hasn't been more productively impressive than Cam or Wilson? Ryan? Cutty? Right now Foles is playing like a top 5 guy. right now being the key words.

Cam has been more impressive to me. Wilson has been too. Matt Ryan had a surprisingly good year. Falcons had no run game and no D, can't hold that against him. Like I said Cutler and Foles are on very equal ground, but I just rather have Cutler.

It's not a knock on Foles at all, but going into next season I rather have those 10 guys. If this were for the next 5 years I would have:
    Newton
    Wilson
    Foles
    Kaep
    Tannehill
    Gleason

Tell me why Newton and Russell have impressed you more.

They seem to be really leading their teams IMO. Foles just seems along for the ride at the moment, it's really the Lesean McCoy show, and Foles job is just not to mess it up.

I'd argue that the defenses do more for both of those teams to be honest. Foles has been damn near perfect, and doesn't have his flaws hidden by an elite defense. I respect your opinion though.
