he played a few snaps in the bears game and kinda hurt himself again and they kept him out of the dallas game. He will play this weekend, Thats what I have heard but he will play limited.

Chip should play safety. He'd be better than Chung. He doesn't need to be on the sidelines while the defense is playing anyways right? :P

He practiced yesterday, but is still questionable

according to team doctors, he has no chance of re-injuring his knee unlike the bears game, so its fully healed

only reason he might not play is because he might not be up to game speed, which is why in the bears game they tried to ease him back into the field, but then he got re-injured then.

edit: just looked at a couple sources:

Apparently it's not an issue of re-injuring the knee. It's his tolerance to the pain/discomfort.

Spoke to Earl Wolff, who is optimistic he'll play Saturday. There's no structural damage, so apparently no major risk of re-injury

    Zach Berman @ZBerm

Wolff said the question is how comfortable/productive he can be. That's why he couldn't play on Sunday, and why he was held out today

After walk-through, Earl Wolff ran outside. Says he felt great, was able to do everything. He's confident he can play. Not his decision
