One of the more exciting offseason's coming up.

    For me its simple.

Sign a FA WR, but dont overspend. Draft Lee/Evans/Ebron/Amaro/Mack. Whoever is there, you take them. Maybe even trade back into the first if the price is right. If not, maybe ASF will be available in the second. Address G/S/OLB with the next picks.

Restructure Cromartie and bring him back. Sign or draft a FA depth CB. Resign Pace for a season as well.

RB I think is set. Ivory/Powell/Goodson. If Goodson isnt an option next year, sign/draft a receving threat RB.

Sign a veteran QB. Draft one in the 4th or 5th, as well. I like Geno and think he has a future with this team, but there's no harm in getting some insurance.
    Go Knicks!

    All time

We need weapons, I think our defense is good enough to keep us in games. We need to get consistent on offense, I'd like to see a WR and TE via FA

top priority is improving the wr core.
so far its hill (two years he's finishing the year hurt) it might be best to get some insurance for hill he is turning out to be injury prone.
david nelson with a offseason to develop with geno skys the limit most likely he will be the number 2 or 3. kerley is a free agent. got to try and bring him back.
salas give him an invite to camp.
draft a guy and get a free agent wr. ( these two guys have to be able to make an impact on day 1) the wr core needs an upgrade in talent and depth.

the offensive line needs a guy to play left and right side to provide depth. draft depth in the 4th round or get a free agent. maybe both.

tight end is a low priority. with what the jets currently have they can piece together a unit. it all depends on winslow. the jets have the young grok. he is like a draft pick. if there is a steal to get in free agency take it.

the jets need a specialist on offense maybe a kick returner/third down weapon.. maybe kerley can fill that role. would allow kerley to get touches and be involved in the offense.

get a real veteran quarterback to be the back up or push geno to start.

the jets need a punter. and better special teams players..

the defense needs a linebacker, safety, cornerback and depth..

Momentum, lots of picks and lots of cap room? It's the complete opposite of last year.

Why would a WR want to come here? Our passing game is like power hitters wanting to go to the old Citi field.

We will have to overpay, and I'm ok with that.

I might be the only one to think this, but I don't think it is imperative to sign a FA WR in the offseason. With Nelson and Kerley as our number 2 and 3 respectfully (they definitely deserve it), the Jets can get that number 1 can't miss guy in the first round and round up depth in the later rounds. Why risk another Santonio Holmes? I'm not really sold on any of the free agents, so I wouldn't want to eat up unnecessary cap room (I would look into Maclin though).

I would use some of that cap room to sign some oline players, or maybe Brian Orakpo/Dansby as Pace's replacement.

Because they'll get paid and get targets in Marty's offense!!!! Would you guys please stop with this notion that FA's only go to playoff teams? It is so ridiculous. Where did Mike Wallace sign? A 7-9 fins team on the 1st day. It's about opportunity and getting numbers for the next paycheck. With no WR's here, a top FA is certain to be a #1, right? They will NOT have to overpay.

You bring up an interesting point - what do the Jets think of their #2 WR position as a whole? With Nelson's reliability and Hill coming back, is there really a need to fill this position?
    You don't like Decker?

Kerley returns, he's not a FA.
Winslow is done and the team needs a #1 TE badly - I don't agree this is a low priority.

I don't know if decker is the product of peyton manning or not. Remember, Tebow had him and while he made some plays, I don't know if he would be deserving of a giant payday by the Jets

I would like jets I bring in couple wide receiver.. You can never have too many.. I also would like jets to look into Matt schuab as a backup vet qb to geno.. And we also need a corner or 2.. Depending of Wilson gets signed

Are you kidding me? This is typical Jets fans here. We win two games and now get high on the pile of **** we've had for years. Kerley is a nice slot receiver.

Rex did a great job with this team this year, but it's pathetic and a shame the crappy offense this organization has run out now for 4 years. We've constantly retread horrible wideouts - Holmes, Edwards, Stephen Hill, Clyde Gates - over and over and over again.

I'm sick of all of them. David Nelson is a 4th wideout. There's a reason Geno Smith threw 12 TDs this year. Because our receiving core was awful.

If the Jets really want to GO FOR IT, they shouldn't have won this game today and put themselves in position for #15th pick instead of 9th pick. It's kind of irritating.

The Jets need to sign either Nicks or Decker and then draft one of Evans/Watkins/Lee. There's no excuses to be made here. The same fans on this forum saying the entire offense sucks now is high because the Jets beat two mediocre teams. I'd really like to see the team go for it and revamp the entire offense around Geno. It completely sucked this year but ended on a high note.

If we roll into next year without a whole new receiving corp, then this organization is clearly inept and learned nothing from WHY we haven't been making the playoffs in the past few years. Our stinky, horrible, incompetent offense and wide receivers.

Difference of opinion maybe, but Nelson hasn't looked like an number 4 to me. He has made some great catches and has shown some nice yac runs.

And if you read my post I said kerley is our number 3 (which is a slot receiver). If we get one of the heavy hitters in the draft, why do we need I spend a ton of money on a WR we don't know will pan out? Everyone you named that underachieved were mostly FA signings. With a plethora of offensive talent coming out, why not save the cap space for oline help and LB help (especially since pace is getting older. He did have a good year though)

I know I am different than most, but one of my top FA WR targets would be Anquan Boldin-- 454 yards on 3rd down (1st in NFL), 76 Rec for 1030 yards and 6 TD's (going into today). Then I get a WR in the 1st round and go with Boldin, Hill, Kerley, Nelson, and my 1st rounder.

Tell me Flacco didn't miss him this year!
    PSD's Sheldon Richardson!!!
