    Melo's Minutes

Melo is right now playing 40 mins a game, his career average is 36. Now this wouldn't normally worry except that Melo is a guy known for missing games. He typically misses 12-13 games a year and so far hasn't missed one. Even a good year for him has him missing 7 games or so. My question is whether the offensive load, the rebounding load and the minutes load he is carrying for this team will break his body down. I'm worried that Woody is gonna burn him out early, he isn't exactly known for his Teflon body.

What does it matter to us knick fans ?
It's not like he will be a knick next year anyways !
    Haven't you heard ?
    He's leaving town!
Lets take advantage of him while he is here.
    Get our money's worth!

We haven't exactly put ourselves in a position to rest him in too many games.
The value of elite scoring ability, by Phil Jackson:

"This is a guy, we recognize his talent, and his skill is the kind of skill and talent that gets you through playoff games where things get sticky, grind-out, and basketball becomes a force game and suddenly you need to have a player who has the capabilities of scoring with someone hanging on them in a situation thatís critical. Heís one of those players, one of the few players who can do that.Ē

    Some body flicked Melos ear!
He is now saying that he has a bruised ear and will most likely miss two to four weeks!
It must be woodys fault for playing him too much!

I have a feeling that with melo now injured, it will be a blessing in disguise .
The whole team will step up and we will start to see some inspired basketball.
    Ball movement
    Chemistry
    Team work
    Passion
    Someone will lead this team
Shump will play better, now that it will be a more fast pased game.
    More plays ran.
    Better coaching.
    Everyone will get involved .
And then when were winning and melo returns, he will step in to his role as a finisher, and hopefully continue to play winning bball.
    That's my dream!!!

This sucks I didn't know he was definitely out, I was hoping for some good news, but I really think with him out we really suck and start to blow this team up and that will be the blessing in disguise, hopefully the first one gone is Shump...
