There's your closer. Last year he became Danry Vasquez, so he could be a decent little chip.
I like this move, although I thought Strop would get a shot.
I like the signing. Really wanted Balfour and Thornton but they were never realistic options. At the price Veras and Wright are great values and could be steals.
This offense isn't gonna build too many big leads so we need a good bullpen to protect the 1 and 2 run leads or at least keep the games close
Tickets to the game = $25 each
My first legal beer on cheap beer day at Wrigley = $3
Catching a HR ball in the bleachers and throwing it back on my 21st birthday...
Yeah Strop would scare me as a closer. If they were to have gone in house I would have liked to see Parker close.
We should have a nice little bullpen this year at least.
Bullpen looks better than last year for sure...I missed that we picked up Wright, not a bad move.
hopefully Strop can continue to improve and maybe we get something out of Vizcaino this year.
def some potential to be a decent bullpen.
J-Load is back!
Definite improvement over last years bullpen. The front office hasn't made a lot of major moves, but they have made smart moves so far. Now lets just see them go after not just depth in the rotation, but some real players.
Welcome back Theriot... and say hello to my little friend...
Not sure why they needed to spend 4M on the bullpen. Maybe but fine...
Looks like flip time again and I'm plenty sick of that. ugh

The bullpen is an easy place to add some wins, especially to last year's team, given how bad it was.
Fun fact that I saw on NSBB and isn't all that scientific but still fun:
From Gregg's first save to the day of the Garza trade, the team was 39-40. 5-13 before Gregg, 22-43 after Garza.
We still need to add another SP... so plz plz plz Tanaka.
Starting pitching and more starting pitching (Tanaka), yes please.
