Masai Ujiri goes to Turkey to scout Nets first round pick Bogdanovic

Must be really considering this trade to Nets if he went all the way to Turkey to see this kid, or just using it as a ploy to get Dolan to panic lol
The Brooklyn Nets are emerging as a potential landing destination for Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

    via Wojnarowski:

The Raptors and Nets have exchanged ideas on packages for Lowry that include Mirza Teletovic, Tyshawn Taylor and 2011 first-round draft pick Bojan Bogdanovic, league sources said. Bogdanovic is playing in Turkey and could join the NBA as soon as next season.

Toronto could try to wait out the Nets' inclusion of a 2020 first-round draft pick or rookie center Mason Plumlee, but is doubtful Brooklyn will pay such a steep price. Jason Terry has been raised in talks, too, but only as part of a deal that includes young players or draft assets.

Scout Halil also reported that Toronto Raptors GM Masai Ujiri was in Turkey Thursday, attending one of Bogdanovic's games.

The New York Knicks and Golden State Warriors are also involved in trade talks.

Masai started out at scouting so I have faith in him. He could be one of those rare players to come and excel in the NBA from Europe. If Masai makes that deal, I think we got ourselves a good player.

For filler. He's only under contract until 2015 as opposed to some like like Felton who's there till 2016. Maybe he can negotiate a buyout if he wants to go back to Europe.

Teletovic if far from awful he can flat out play and shoot from anywhere on the floor he is like Patterson with a much much better shot.

you can watch his euro highlights if you want he is an amazing shooter, i was watching this guy live not to long ago he was making 3's almost from half court in a real game and he made it look easy.

Yea, Mirza is solid and can be an effective 20-25 min player off the bench if he was given consistent minutes. He has been given volatile minutes his NBA career so far. Probably like a 9 and 5 player off the bench if given consistent burn.

We have no use for him on our current team though really with all the guys we have.

He's a fit for the NBA, but he's not being given minutes. A few guys every now and then have gone back to Europe since they are stars.

i dont look at euro highlights honestly. its not the same thing. its like a guy who can hit the ball in AAA . maybe if he was given more minutes hed be better. but hes done nothing in the NBA so far to prove hed be a good NBA player.. he did however air ball 3 shots in about a minute so.. thats probably an NBA record. something to hold on too
