This is perfect, because no matter what position Seager plays, he is going to need two more years.

Literally no other 3B on the market. Unless you consider Michael Young an option.

Shouldva signed him to a 1YR deal since he was only motivated last year, the Dodgers should sign Michael Young as a backup IF to further motivate Uribe.

1yr works have been ideal but with no other option on the market Uribe had all the bargaining chips...

What? Have you checked our roster yet? We have Dee and Sellers as backups for the infield.

    This is exactly it.

2 years isn't terrible. Weird to think that Uribe could play for the Dodgers for 5 seasons and earn $36 million.

Also, NB4 all the Uribe hate when he hits .250/.300/.380 next year and still out earns his contract.

I'd be happy with that line, he isnt going to be hitting in the middle of the order, as long as he plays great defense and does literally anything with the bat I'll be satisfied.

Idk Seager needs more than 1 year, 2 years is fine with me.

This was probably the best move. I just hope we get 2013 Uribe. I'm not 100% sure we will. I'd like to see Michael Young brought back as insurance. I think the team should have held onto Ellis. I would have liked 2 of 3 between Ellis, Shumaker and Punto back honestly. I like the defense and continuity with Uribe but the team still needs 2 IF's IMO.

    Highly unlikely.
.240/.300/.380 Uribe I'd be happy with.

There's still people that think that Michael Young is good?

    Agreed.

    Punto, yes.
    Schumaker, forget it
