    Seahawks poised to break record

As the Seahawks prepare to play the New York Giants on Sunday, they have allowed just 15 yards on punt returns all season.

The NFL record for fewest yards allowed on punt returns in a season is 22, set by the last of Vince Lombardi’s Green Bay Packers teams in 1967. That, though, came in a 14-game season. The record for a 16-game season is 49 by the Atlanta Falcons in 2008.

They were talking about this the other day and I think it was something like they gave up 10 yds in the first game of the season too. So they've given up 5 yds in 12 games this season.

    Wow, interesting record.

Very exceptional coverage unit especially considering Jon Ryan isn't anything special as a punter.

For the record Seattle also 29th in the league in average for punting. It seems to be more of their goal to get no kick return rather than kick the ball farther. It's a good strategy I think. Especially because of the amount of playmakers that return punts.

You Seahawks fans!!! Geez it's like your team has been doing great or something the last couple years....oh yeah, you are doing great.

It's kind of interesting to me. There wasn't much news NFL wise coming out of the mean green since Steve Largent...and bang here you are!!!

...and yes I remember watching Largent play...and yes I'd pick Seattle when playing Tecmo Bowl cause he killed it!!!

    St.Louis 81
    Chicago 109
    San Diego 126
    Detroit 126

    Worst 5:

    Giants 509
    Buffalo 460
    Houston 424
    Jets 422

    Washington is so bad, wow.

Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, and Colin Kaepernick walk into a bar... To watch Russell Wilson win the Super Bowl.

Not like they have played in a superbowl and had an MVP since Largent or anything

Not gonna lie, when the stat was first mentioned a few weeks ago I thought they may have messed up. 15 yards just doesn't really sound plausible, haha.
