    Sign or trade?

I heard Avery Bradley turned down a 4/$24 mil. Contract offer from the celtics. Says he wants 8mil per year.

What do you think the C's should do?
    Is he worth the money?
    Trade him away like Perk?
Wait it out n see what happens?

His best year as a pro - maybe once. Overall? Not a chance in hell.

    Trade him away like Perk?
    Yup.

#1. We need room for Rondo when he comes back
#2. An Asik for Hump/AB or Bass/AB (with the Clips #1) - deal makes sense. I can think of other ways to move him. He's not worth a #1 on his own, but in combo - he may be.

Wait it out n see what happens?
    Too passive, no thanks.

6/27/09: “We expect [Rondo] to play by the rules and be a leader as a point guard. We need him to be more of a leader,” Ainge said. “There were just a couple situations where he was late this year, I don’t know if he was sitting in his car, but showed up late and the rest of the team was there. We have team rules and you have to be on time. He was fined for being late, he said he was stuck in traffic, and it’s just unacceptable.”

Don't think Bass + AB + 1st would get it done for Horford. Maybe Green + AB + 1st would. Didn't check to see if that lines up salary wise.

More like Sullinger, AB, Green, and two #1's for Horford.

I'm not a fan of giving a first rounder for Asik .

I agree that AB is not worth a 1st on his own and IMO Sully may have to be included to get a 1st... Which I wouldn't like to happen...

AB wants 8mil per, DA offered 6mil... I think there is plenty of time to find middle ground... Maybe a Big Baby type 2 yr deal for 7mil per...

Houston IMO is pretty full in the backcourt... If it's true that Hou/Atl is the frontrunner trade scenario I would think it is because Houston wants to bulk up in the paint with Milsap...

No thanks for Varejeo unless they want to give up 2 of 3 of their 2014' 2nd rd picks...

I'd do that for Horford(if one of the picks involved is the LAC one). Don't think Atlanta would though.

At $8M I think he is too expensive for the type of player he is, or should be. If he wants to come back at $5.2 M (Courtney Lee's salary), then I would say sign him. BTW, at $5.2M he would double his current salary. That's a fair raise for someone who is a defensive specialist, a bit injury prone and still limited offensively.
