Bill Simmons is such a Laker hater, can't stand these ESPN guys
should be an awesome game...
it will give us great insight into our ability to compete with a top team in the West...
I expect nothing but "LAKERS WILL BE CHAMPS" threads after the game
Somebody posted a thread about Pau and Blake being traded to Toronoto, which Chacs closed. Twitter has nothing about Toronto, but there's a rumor bubbling up about both of them going to Chicago for Deng and Boozer. I don't know anything about the cap implications or whether that trade would work, but I'd be glad to see those guys find a new home and welcome some interior scrappers who don't need to ball to be productive.
Also, Thibs is being mentioned for the Knicks gig, and the Bulls are going to have to decided whether to rebuild now or wait for Rose to come back and blow something else out. Might be a good time for two down teams to swap parts that they can use now and barter with later.
Kobe should sit this game this team is too fast for his legs
It could get ugly very very quickly.
We're winning 4-3; fight guys fight. Not expecting a win; but hoping for an entertaining game, a Teamwork game; and kobe continuing to get back to full game-playing shape.
F U Bill Simmons, btw, I caught the tail end, and he needs to crawl back into his hole.
When was the last time we had an early lead. We're looking good so far.
btw, I'm not ruling us winning this game; in the NBA upsets happen all the time.
But boy what a morale booster that would be on the road and against one of the hottest and best teams in the League!
Meeks is gaining my respect! He is poise and playing actual defense!
Kobe with 3 passes to Pau in the post already.
Biggest worry so far: unsustainable pace. If Kobe gets tired his turnovers will go up and then who do we go to?
I do not want to see Kobe putting in 35-40 minutes because the game is within reach.
