We might lose out for the year and begin to rebuild (probably best for our team)..Dont think we take this.

    Agreed. We need to loose.

Note: I feel dirty saying that.

I think as I've said before we can easily get back in contention. It happens every year teams go from first to last or last to first.
I agree its best to lose out but we aren't in as bad a spot as some think. The only issue is the team probably won't make the moves we need cause they involve cutting Ike and Troy taking a big paycut. Heath also should be approached about a paycut. Ike makes 11 million next year and cutting him saves 7.

But back to the point next year our offense can be real good if we get a haley replacement they've shown flashes this year.
    Ben is Ben
Bell is going continue to improve
Brown has proved me wrong his year
Heath is just getting healthy (not every player is Ap) and getting back mentally hew I'll be back to the real Heath next year
That's a good offense right there. Factor in wheatons speed which will be more featured and a re-signed JC our skill spots are fine and maybe a drafted WR.
Then the line he only real ? Is LT which we can address in draft or use beachum or mike Adams

Defense just need to get a corner wit Ike gone (in my scenario) to play nickle as ring has said I'm fine with gay and Allen starting for a year.
Shark at FS Troy on a cut a SS. Then the only issue is DE and maybe NT

I'll never root for us to lose, but with that being said, losing won't ruin my week like it normally would.

I have absolutely no idea what a losing record will feel like. This could be interesting.

Its not a very good time. Its been awhile. We have been spoiled that anything less then a playoff experience is an incredibly disappointing season.

I remember the season we got Ben clear as day. It was this bad joy feeing in your gut. Bad because you lost. But good because you know only good can come from it.

I was referring to the time between end of season and the draft.

The wait for the draft always kills me. Since it's not a position we are used to I think having a top 10 pick will excite me very much plus I think it's just a one year thing.

Getting a high pick is overrated, I'd rather win.

With a good drafting team no.. I remember one year we won a few extra games we shouldn't that put us out of potential to draft Patrick Willis which really sucked.

With Colbert i am not too sure

It really isn't. 5-11 and a top 15 pick gets us a Ben or Troy or LT. 8-8 and missing the playoffs gets us 15-24 and a Mendenhall or Holmes or Decastro. I'd much rather have a top pick when playoffs are not a realistic option.
